Worth County 2020 End of Year Campaign
This has been a great year for the Worth County Chapter of Called to Care. We have been busy trying to meet the needs of so many beautiful children from foster care in our community.
Our C2C closet is up and running with much success! A special thanks to Mr. Settle and the Worth County Board of Education for gifting us with the space to work out of. We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of the community that has helped us stock our closet with the items needed for journey bags. Any-time we have had a need that couldn’t be met with what was available in our closet - a quick share on our Facebook page generally results in a donation by morning. Worth supporters are amazing!
Still, we recognize that meeting physical needs is just an opening to meet spiritual needs. We are incredibly grateful for our church partners who have stepped in and are forging relationships with these children, foster families, and biological families that desperately need Jesus. Our hope is that, even though we can’t change the situation they are in, we can bring light by spreading the love of Christ.
We are confident these efforts will show broken families what a mighty God we serve. Even if they are living in darkness, there is a light and they can put their hope in Him.
We have so many opportunities for you to engage and connect with Called to Care in whatever capacity you are comfortable. We would love for you to join us by volunteering or donating. Reach out to us any time!
